High-flying WAFA forward Daniel Lomotey has said he’s delight with his side’s 1-2 victory over Elmina Sharks on Sunday in match day 11 of the Ghana Premier League at the Papa Kwesi Ndoum Stadium on Sunday.
Lomotey has been in an incredible form this season for the Sogakope based club, scoring five goals in 11 matches.
The unstoppable midfielder scored brace for the Academy boys before substitute Samuel pulled one back for host Elmina Sharks.
“We thank God for this wonderful win he has given us. We knew that it wouldn’t be easy to play against such a determined side in front of their fans but through hard work and determination we prevailed.” He told pressmen after the game.
“We feel so excited because it’s not easy to play in this division with relatively young players and we being on top of the log feels great.”
