West Africa Football Academy striker Daniel Owusu has applauded the management and technical staff for having faith in him.
The striker who had not kicked a ball this season due to injury was handed a starting berth against Dwarfs on Sunday and was able to find the net as his side drew 1-1 in Cape Coast.
Owusu was happy for the trust the club have imposed in him as he fills the shoes of Lomotey who has been sold in Tunisia.
“I have been battling with injuries and coming back to score in my first game, I am happy. I thank the technical team and staff for believing in me.” Owusu stated after the game
“I am not having the physique like Lomotey but they believe in what I can do.”
The talented forward is gradually working his way to full fitness and is expected to be the club’s leading attacker.
