Head coach for Eleven Wonders FC, Ignatius Fosu has rated West African Football Academy (WAFA) SC youngster, Augustine Boakye ahead of Asante Kotoko midfielder Fabio Gama.
The outspoken gaffer said the WAFA youngster is a better footballer compared with Brazilian import Fabio Gama Dos Santos of Ghana giant, Kumasi Asante Kotoko SC.
According to Ignatius Fosu, the 20-year-old is an all rounder footballer who can dribble, give good passes and also very creative compared to Gama who only gives passes.
“Boakye is an all rounder footballer who can play as a creative midfielder, winger and a second striker and also gives good passes as well as a good dribbler”, he said.
“Gama is more of a good passer of the ball but is not on the same level as Boakye who do everything on the field and has better stats than the Kotoko man”, he added.
Augustine Boakye has five goals and 11 assists and six MVP awards in the league compared to Gama’s four goals and four assists and two MVP awards.
