Black Stars ‘B’ midfielder Gideon Waja has reiterated that his side must put all effort in place to ensure they beat Gambia in the opening game of the WAFU Tournament on Saturday.
The Black Stars B will on Saturday take on Gambia in the 2017 WAFU Cup of Nations at the Cape Coast Stadium.
However, Waja who is one of the Key player’s in the team insists they are well determined and focused ahead of the game on Saturday knowing its a knockout game.
‘We’re well prepared because it is a knockout game so we are really focus and determined to win. Waja told SportsworldGhana.com
‘We’re very focused on what we’ve got to do. By hook or by crook we have to perform, we have to work hard, we have to play well and we have to get the result.
The WAFA captain added saying their main target is winning the tournament but believes they have to start that by winning on Saturday.
‘ We’re playing at home and of course the main target is to win the tournament but we have to start that by winning on Saturday if God permits.
