Ankaragücü claimed a thrilling 3-2 away win over Keçiörengücü in an exciting Turkish league encounter, with Ghanaian striker Kwabena Owusu playing a starring role.
Owusu opened the scoring for Ankaragücü in the 42nd minute and later converted a penalty in the 62nd minute to complete his brace. His goals were key to securing the victory for the visitors.
Just before halftime, U. K. Yıldız pulled one back for Keçiörengücü in the 45th minute, keeping the game alive. After Owusu’s second, Ankaragücü added a third just three minutes later through R. Cephas, extending their lead to 3-1.
Keçiörengücü fought until the final whistle, and Yıldız scored again in the 98th minute, but it was not enough to deny Ankaragücü the win.
Kwabena Owusu’s performance once again highlighted his sharp form and importance to his team’s success this season.
