Medeama SC officially accept the decision of the Ghana Football Association to cancel the current Premier League season and this is according to the spokesperson of the Yellow and Mauves Patrick Akoto
The GFA Executive Committee arrived at the decision to cancel the 2019/20 football season due to the impact of the Covid-19 that forced the suspension of football in the country back in March.
“At this moment we agree with the GFA. They are well within their right to take such decision and we have no issues” Patrick Akoto told Fox FM.
“We at Medeama have no challenges. We were definitely doing well in the league and many believe we were potential winners of the league but we are not bothered. Our players are still available and waiting for the next competition.” Akoto added during an interview on Fox Fm’s Focal Sports on Wednesday.
Medeama were 6th on the standings four points adrift league leaders Aduana Stars after Week 15.
