Chief Executive Officer African media network Econet Media and president of Econet Media Joseph Hundah says they are in Ghana to serve Ghanaians with the best of Sports, entertainment and kids shows.
Kwesé TV, a media network operated by Econet Media, a subsidiary of Econet Wireless was on Thursday launched in Ghana at the Accra Polo Club.
The new Television firm is set to thrill Ghanaian sports and entertainment fans with their modern free-to-air Sports and Entertainment programs.
Speaking to the press, Chief executive officer and president of Econet Media Joseph Hundah revealed that his outfit is excited to bring Kwesé TV to Ghana.
Kwesé is fast becoming a leading source for the latest in sports and sports fans in Ghana can look forward to some exciting programming on Kwesé Free Sports.
“The brand has already captured big interest from many part of Africa within just a year and this shows that KWESE TV is here to offer good services.”
“We are very pleased that Econet Media has chosen to invest in the package of free-to-air broadcasting rights that we have made available in Sub-Saharan Africa” he said.
“We are here to serve Ghanaians with the best of Sports, entertainment and kids shows”he added.
He also revealed that Kwesé Sports.com has 2M users and 7M viewers, as well as in partnership with ESPN, Sports Fantasy and an App with over 20K registration and they are operating in
Ghana and some African nations like Kenya, Uganda, Nigeria, Malwi and Rwanda.
