Black Starlets goalkeeper Ibrahim Danlad says the ultimate aim of going into this year’s under 17 World Cup is to win the trophy.
Ghana will be making a return to the prestigious youth event after missing in action for a decade. The Starlets won Silver at the 2017 Africa under 17 championships in Gabon and they have already set their sights on making history in India.
Ghana will battle host India,USA and Columbia in group A at the tournament.
Danlad insists they are not in India for sightseeing but to win the tournament.
“We believe in ourselves that we can do it that is to bring home the trophy”
“That is why we are working hard because we are not just going there to go and look at India and comeback but our target is to win the ultimate”he told Starr Sports
