German-born Ghanaian teen striker Aaron Opoku-Tiawiah, has described his side’s 3-0 away win against SV Meppen on Saturday afternoon as a deserving victory for them.
Opoku, 21, bagged brace for Hansa Rostock who posted an emphatic 3-0 away win against SV Meppen at the Hänsch Arena in the German third-tier league Saturday afternoon.
He shot the visitors in front with a fine strike in the seventh minute of the game.
He sumptuously finished his brace in the game for FC Hansa Rostock in the 26th minute to give his side a 2-0 lead after half time.
Back from recess, Daniel Hanslik wrapped wictory for the away side eight minutes from the end of the game.
Speaking after the game, the Humburg-born forward said ”We made a game that was very strong. We took the lead early and added a goal straight away. We deservedly won. We don’t have much time to celebrate, we have to stay focused,”
The Humburg-born forward, lasted the full duration of the match with some outstanding display.
Opoku who still remains eligible to play for Ghana despite representing Germany at the U19 and U20 level, has so far scored five goals with five assists in his 28 appearances for FC Hansa Rostock this season campaign.
