Ghana’s Black Galaxies first choice goalkeeper Ibrahim Danlad has reacted to his team’s win over Sudan in the ongoing 2022 CAF Africa Nations Championship (CHAN) tournament in Algeria.
The Kumasi Asante Kotoko SC shot stopper couldn’t hide his excitement after Ghana’s qualification to the next stage of the competition.
“We didn’t have any option than to make Ghana proud. We are determined to put smiles on the face of everyone. We shall do it. Ghana first,” the Asante Kotoko player wrote on Facebook.
Danlad made four crucial saves in the game which could’ve all ended up in the back of the net.
Ghana won the game 3-1 against the Sudanese and all through to the next stage of the competition despite losing their first game.
