West Africa Football Academy defender, Konadu Yiadom, has disclosed that players at the Sogakope-based club only receive match winning bonuses without salaries.
Speaking to Kumasi-based Angel FM, Konadu Yiadom revealed that the bonuses, motivate and push them to win more games and get paid afterwards.
“It’s true that players at WAFA only receive match bonuses without salaries. We’re always paid just after the match. This always motivate us to win every match we play. We sometimes play four to five matches within a month.
‘’If the least bonus is GH¢70 imagine the money a player will get when we win all matches within that month” said Konadu Yiadom.
Konadu Yiadom, 20, has played 14 games for WAFA in the suspended 2019/20 Ghana premier league.
