The deputy coach of King Faisal Anthony Commey has bemoaned his team’s Ghana Premier League outstanding fixture 5-1 loss to Ashantigold SC on Wednesday afternoon at the Obuasi Len Clay Stadium.
The Miners had no pity for the Kumasi-based side as they completed a total demolishing exercise against them in the Ghana Premier League matchday three outstanding game.
Ashantigold SC broke the deadlock in the 16th-minute mark of the game through Isaac Opoku Agyemang before Kwame Peprah drew King Faisal level ten minutes later from the spot
However, David Abgna produced a sparkling strike to restore the lead for the home side just three minutes after Kwame Peprah’s goal.
The Miners kept tormenting the visitors and finally got their third goal in the game when Isaac Opoku Agyemang netted his second goal in the game.
King Faisal lost total control of the game after failing to outclass Ashantigold’s masterclass performance as deadly winger Yaw Annor struck twice to wrap up a commanding 5-1 win against King Faisal at the Obuasi Len Clay Stadium.
Speaking after the game Commey said ”We had a bad day today. That’s what caused our defeat. Our game plan was to hold them and hit them on the counter but we couldn’t stick to the plan,”
Commey also commented on Kwame Peprah’s Penalty miss, saying ”Just yesterday he was scoring it with ease during our training. But we don’t know what happened today. That’s bad.”
