Asante Kotoko board member Kwadwo Boateng Gyamfi, has rejected widespread reports that his outfit has a bad relationship with the Chief Executive Officer of the club- Nana Yaw Amponsah.
Mr. Boateng Gyamfi, who speaks for the board, insists they are on the same line with the budding football administrator championing the good course of the record Ghana Premier League-winning club. He, however, wants fans to ignore such destructive reports and keep supporting them to take the club to higher heights.
“I can tell you there is a good relationship between the board and the Chief Executive Officer,” he said on Hello FM.
‘’There are no issues between the board and the management. They are all speculations. Sometimes I listen to some of your panelists and some other stations and it’s amazing the kind of stories you put out. They are so calculated.
‘’If you (media) love Kotoko then I think you shouldn’t do that. We should all support the team with a good heart. That kind of speculation won’t help Kotoko in any way. In fact, we’re doing our best.’’ Boateng Gyamfi concluded.
Asante Kotoko are currently second on the Premier League standings with 35 points, one behind leaders Medeama SC after player 22 games.
The Porcupine Warriors will host Dreams FC on Saturday in matchday 23 fixture at the Obuasi Len Clay Stadium.
