Dreams FC head coach Winfred Dormon shared his excitement on Sunday after leading the team to a 2-0 victory over Basake Holy Stars in the Ghana Premier League.
Speaking in his post-match interview, Dormon praised his players for what he described as a decent performance, but stressed that his team needs to work on improving their attack.
“On reflection, I’m a bit elevated because we came into this game on the backdrop of a painful defeat to Bibiani Gold Stars. We approached this game with the correct attitude and mentality to make sure we collected the three points.
“Overall, it was a decent performance and a decent result, but we have a lot to correct in the final third,” Winfred Dormon said.
The Week 17 victory over Holy Stars has propelled Dreams FC to the 12th position in the Ghana Premier League standings.
Up next for the Still Believe side, they will take on Heart of Lions in their first match in the second round of the ongoing Ghanaian top-flight league campaign.
