Legon Cities midfielder Braimah Foster has charged his teammates to put their defaet against Asante Kotoko behind and react quickly against Ebusua Dwarfs on Friday in their Ghana Premier League matchday six fixture.
A tenth-minute goal from Osman Ibrahim was sufficient to hand Asante Kotoko a 1-0 win on the night.
The Royals have suffered to their second defeat of the season following Ibrahim Osman’s tenth minute opener on Friday night.
Cities have failed to win any of their five games this season and are currently languishing at the bottom of the Ghana Premier League table.
Speaking after his side’s defeat to the Porcupine Warriors, Briamah said; “The way Kotoko play, it is difficult to get back into the game; Braimah said as he reflected on going down so early in the first half. “We created a few chances but we did not do enough to get back into the game.”
“We struggled very early in the game, they [Kotoko] pressed us so hard and tracked us down.” He added.
“We knew that will be the case because we were both fighting so hard for the first three points. The first twenty-minutes we were not good enough and we need to pick ourselves up and go again on Friday, which we will.”
Braimah, however, insists that there are still many games left to play and we will continue to take it game-by-game.
“You know, there are many games left to play. We are taking it a game at a time and we have a young squad with a new coach.”
“It is still early to draw conclusions but we were unbeaten in our last two games, with the squad we have we want to win every match but we know the reality of it is that we are not going to win every match.”
“It is the reaction that matters when you lose a game. We have to react quickly against Ebusua Dwarfs on Friday. We have no option than to win that game.” He concluded.
