Ghana legend Asamoah Gyan says the Black Stars cannot start thinking of winning the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations before the group play is concluded.
Gyan – 51 goals for Ghana – believes the Group of the Black Stars that included Morocco, Gabon and tournament newcomers Comoros is a tricky one.
Reacting to the draw, the legendary striker said “Is a tricky group. Morocco is up there. Ghana is also up there. That is my country and I will be routing for my country.”
He added that: “We just have to stay focus and qualify from the group first.
Without qualifying from the group, you cannot start thinking about the Cup. So we have to qualify first before thinking of winning the Cup.”
