Asante Kotoko goalkeeper Felix Annan, has shared his thought in the current happenings of Ghana football that has seen the Zylofon Cash Premier League suspended indefinitely, stating ”We really miss the league”.
Annan 23, says the suspension of the league is a worrying issue for his club since it was a time the team was taking shape after their shambolic start to the season.
The highly rated goalie believes Asante Kotoko would have sustained their re-energized form they picked before their last game in the first round of the league.
He’s therefore calling for an immediate resolution of the impasse confronting Ghana football.
“We really miss the league. On the part of Kotoko, we were getting back to our form and the team was taking shape before the break of the league,” Annan told Konongo based Virgin FM.
“It is very worrisome but we’ve been discussing it among ourselves. We feel things would have gone well for us should the league was going on.
“We just hope and pray everything settles down for us to return to our game,” he added.
The FA Cup champions have commenced preparations for the second round of the Zylofon Cash Premier League and have arranged a couple of friendly matches during this period.
