Accra Hearts of Oak winger Manaf Gumah Jnr. says they were very eager to beat Bechem United after some uninspiring league results.
The Phobians stepped up their game on Sunday and gave the “Hunters” who were unbeaten a 6-1 mauling in an epic game at the Accra Sports Stadium.
Manaf who capped a brilliant afternoon with a goal as well as the Man of the match award emphasized that their victory was due to their zeal and will power.
“The win was hard work and determination, the match was a must win for us and we worked to get a very good results.” He stated after claiming his MVP award.
The Phobians have now moved to second place on the league log with eleven points from seven games.
