Hearts of Oak head coach Didi Dramani has struck an optimistic tone ahead of his side’s Ghana Premier League Week 19 encounter against Dreams FC, scheduled for Friday, January 16.
The Phobians will host the Still Believe boys at the University of Ghana Sports Stadium, with kickoff set for 3:00 pm, as both sides battle for crucial points in the 2025/26 top-flight campaign.
Speaking in a pre-match interview, Dramani expressed confidence in his squad’s preparation, insisting Hearts are ready to put in a performance capable of securing all three points.
“I think we have picked up lessons from our previous games. We will continue to keep our identity in terms of our strengths,” he told Hearts TV.
The Hearts coach was also quick to acknowledge the quality of the opposition, describing Dreams FC as one of the most competitive sides in the league, but stressed that his team will remain focused on their own game plan.
“We acknowledge the strength of our opponent because they are a force to reckon with in the league. We will respect that and stick to our strengths. We will compete, and compete to win,” Dramani added.
With league positions tightening and consistency becoming key, Hearts of Oak will be aiming to make home advantage count as they look to build momentum in the second round of the season.
