Operations Manager of WAFA, Ofosu Hene has said the Sogakope based Club will continue to sell players to foreign clubs as far as the offer which comes good.
He indicates clubs in Ghana are facing so many financial difficulties and that the Academy boys will continue to sell to enable them get money to run the club.
“Clubs are suffering in this country to pay players as there is no proper sponsorship package for the league. We shall continue to sell the players and it does not matter the country or the club there are going as far as they will be paid well,”Ofosu Hene is quoted as saying by footballmadeinghana.com
“Our player Razark Abalora has been sold to a Tanzanian club and some people are asking why we sold him to Tanzanian team. If a club is ready to pay in the range of $1000-$3000 as monthly salary we shall let the player go even doctors of this country are leaving because of money,”
Razak Abalora recently was sold to Tanzanian side Azam FC.
They are also in talks with clubs in Belgium over the possible sale of silky midfielder Majeed Ashimeru and Daniel Lomotey.
