Wa All Stars Chief Executive Samuel Oduro-Nyarko is confident his side will make a huge impact at the WAFU tournament in Senegal.
The Northern Blues were selected as Ghana’s representative for the competition after winning the Ghana premier league last season. The team will face competition from Senegal Champions Union Sportive Goreenne, AS Tanda of La Cote d’ Ivoire and Barrack Young Controllers from Liberia.
All Stars have been inconsistent in the Ghana Premier League and suffered early elimination from the CAF Champions League.
This will be the first time WA All Stars will be participating in the WAFU tournament. But Oduro Nyarko insists they will be good ambassadors at the event
“We are making our maiden appearance at the event and its between champions from Senegal,Liberia,Ivory Coast and Ghana”
“So we want to make Ghana proud at the competition”he told Accra based Starr FM.
