Ghana captain Andre Dede Ayew says they will need all the elements in football to help them break the country’s 37 year old trophy drought.
Coach Kwasi Appiah and his men have pitched camp in Dubai preparing for the continental showpiece slated for Egypt in June.
Ghana will be seeking to win the trophy for the fifth time after last winning it in 1982 in Libya.
The newly appointed captain of Ghana admits it will be difficult but with determination, discipline, focus and luck, they will be able to end Ghana’s 37-year wait for an AFCON title.
“This tournament is going to be a very difficult one for all the teams,”
“We are prepared,we know what we have to do because we have experienced players in the team so i am confident “
“I just hope that the gods of football will be with us because if you want to win there should be great fighting spirit, discipline, focus and above all luck on our side to ensure we sail through, ” Ayew told Africafeeds. com
