Nations FC coach Kasim Ocansey Mingle has shut down all transfer rumors surrounding his team’s top players, insisting that none of them will leave the club in the ongoing transfer window.
The Abrankese-based club had a impressive debut Ghana Premier League campaign, finishing seventh at the end of the season. With clubs scrambling to sign quality players ahead of the new season, some Ghana Premier League teams have shown interest in Nations FC’s top performers.
Defenders Razak Simpson and Michael Awuah Mensah have reportedly attracted interest from Hearts of Oak and Asante Kotoko, while striker Asamoah Boateng Afriyie is being eyed by Hearts of Oak. However, Coach Mingle has made it clear that none of these players will be leaving the club.
“None of our players will leave the club. We will not sell any of our players although there are interest. Our players will stay unless players who are not in our plans” he told Kessben FM.
Nations FC are expected to strengthen their squad ahead of the upcoming Ghana Premier League campaign, which is set to kick off in September 2024.
