Ghana’s U-20 assistant Coach Nurudeen Ahadu says her side will not underrate the strength of Burkina Faso ahead of their clash on Sunday insisting ‘We have great respect for them.’
The Black Satellites will battle their Burkinabe counterparts in the opening Group B fixture of the ongoing U20 AFCON in Niger.
Speaking at a pre-match media briefing ahead of the clash, the coach maintained there is no small team in Africa and Ghana will be going all out for victory on Sunday.
“Burkina are not easy and we have huge respect for them.
“We’re neighbors and there are no small teams in Africa,” he said.
“We’re the only team on the continent that won the World Cup but winning in the past doesn’t mean that you can be champions today.
“So we are approaching the game with all seriousness,” he added.
The game starts at exactly 6:30 PM Ghana time at Stadi Maradi.
