K. Beerchot V. A chairman, Francis Vrancken feels proud to acquire the services of young Ghanaian prospect, Abraham Okyere.
The Mauves team chairman was speaking at the unveiling of the player after completing his mandatory medical test and putting pen to paper to sign a two-year deal with the club.
According to Vrancken, the Ghanaian youngster is a very good player and has commended the scouting team for doing a great job to land the Inter Allies FC midfielder.
“Our technical department has worked hard this year to scout these talents,” says chairman Francis Vrancken.
He further stated that the club faced a lot of competition from other clubs for the signature of the 18-year-old and feels proud to beat other clubs to sign the box-to-box midfielder.
“We are therefore proud that we have been able to bind Okyere to us despite competition from other clubs”, he added.
Okyere joined the Belgium Pro League team after a year on loan at Al Hilal United in United Arab Emirates last season from Ghana Premier League side International Allies.
