Hearts of Oak’s ongoing dispute with coach Slavko Matic has been making headlines lately. The Serbian coach has gone missing, and there are reports in the local media that he intends to take legal action against the club through FIFA.
In a recent statement, Opare Addo, the club’s spokesperson, stated that Hearts of Oak will respond if Matic files a claim with FIFA. He added that the club will make the details public and keep their supporters informed.
Currently, David Ocloo is serving as the team’s caretaker coach as management has charged him to manage the team for the remaining matches.
“If he has taken anything to FIFA or wherever if we get a copy why not we will not keep it away from our supporters. We will let everybody to get to know about it,” Opare Addo said on Peace FM.
“As I speak to you now David Ocloo is the one charged to manage the team by management he is standing in as caretaker coach as we (Hearts) continue to play the remaining matches,”
