Portuguese trainer Mariano Barreto has picked seven points from his first three games in charge of Asante Kotoko but on Friday he is presented with his first real test against Annor Walker’s Great Olympics.

The 4-0 over Bechem United and 2-0 against Berekum Chelsea were good but none of these sides are on the same level as the Great Olympics team. Olympics have enough quality. Gladson Awako, Michel Otu, James Akaminko, Michael Yeboah, the Quaye brothers Samuel Ashie Quaye and Maxwell Abbey Quaye.

Not only that. The Wonder club have been one of the best sides of this season after beating Hearts of Oak, Kotoko, Medeama and co.

They currently occupy second place on the league table after Kotoko who are leaders.

This is the first biggest game for Barreto.
