Berekum Chelsea are having a nightmarish season in the Ghana Premier League as the team lies 11th on the league standings after 25 matches but one player who have distinguished himself from the lot is Stephen Amankona.
The winger has scored 8 goals this season and is the leader of goals for the 2011 Ghana champions.
Even when his team is beaten, his performance is hardly criticized – always trying to give his best. Amankona has also been an exemplary leader as captain of the side until Mohammed Abdul Basit was resigned to take over the armband.
