Wonders’ Star-man Ibrahim Salifu set for Ashanti Gold switch

Techiman Eleven Wonders Star Midfielder Salifu Ibrahim is set to join rival top-flight club Ashantigold SC, according to media reports.

Speculations making rounds in Ghana’s media landscape indicate that the highly-rated midfield gem has already agreed personal terms with the Miners ahead of a proposed move next month.

Salifu has been one of the most talked about players in the ongoing Ghanaian topflight after a series of spectacular performances for Techiman Eleven Wonders.

The nimble-footed midfielder has won 5 NASCO man of the match awards in 9 matches and is currently the subject of transfer speculations to a host of clubs both in Ghana’s Andre abroad.

With the second transfer window of the Ghana Premier League set to open next month, Salifu looks set set to end his love affair with Wonders for a move to the city of gold.

The deal however, is not likely to be finalized until AshGold meet the demand of the Techiman based club.
