Experienced defender Dennis Odoi after missing out on Ghana’s squad during the last international break has found favour in the eyes of the technical team of the Black Stars again.
The Club Brugge man has returned to the Black Stars team as they gear up for the upcoming 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers against Madagascar and Comoros this month.
He was part of the Ghana team that qualified to be 2022 FIFA World Cup tournament in Qatar against Nigeria to seal the country’s fourth appearance at the Mundial.
The 35-year-old featured for Club Brugge and scored in the team’s 6-0 thumping of Beerschot.
He also played in the team’s last game against Royal Union SG. His performance in the two games has impressed Ghana coach Chris Hughton, leading to his return to the Black Stars for the upcoming games against Madagascar and Comoros.
