Ghana international Yaw Yeboah delivered the decisive moment as his goal secured a narrow 1-0 victory for Qingdao Hainiu over Henan FC in the Chinese Super League on Saturday morning.
The former Black Stars winger started and completed the full match, playing a key role in a hard-fought contest at the Qingdao Youth Football Stadium, where both sides struggled to find a breakthrough in the first half.
The opening 45 minutes were evenly balanced, with intense end-to-end action but no goals as the teams went into the break locked at 0-0.
After the restart, Yeboah stepped up when it mattered most, scoring the only goal of the game in the 60th minute to give Qingdao Hainiu all three points.
The 29-year-old has been in strong form since joining the club at the start of the 2026 season, continuing his impressive start with his second goal in just four league appearances.
Since arriving in February, Yeboah has quickly established himself as a key figure for Qingdao Hainiu, offering creativity, pace, and match-winning quality in the final third.
