Black Meteors captain, Yaw Yeboah found the back of the net for Wisla Krakow against League leaders Legia Warsaw in the Polish top-flight on Saturday evening.
The Ghanaian playmaker scored the only goal for his team as they continue to struggle in the Polish league in the first half after just 12 minutes on the clock to put the hosts 1-0 up early in the game.
The 23-year-old Ghanaian international has been a pivot for Wisla Krakow in the Poland Ekstraklasa since he joined the club this summer from Spanish side Celta de Vigo as his goal made sure that his team picked a point at home against giants, Warsaw,
Tomás Pekhart, in the 81st minute, scored from the penalty spot to cancel out Yeboah’s early strike to prevent the hosts from winning their third league game this campaign in 13 games.
Just when it looked like the hosts would secure a point from the game, Pekhart scored again on the 89th-minute mark to inflict a painful defeat on Wisla Krakow who led the game for 80 minutes.
It ended 2-1 to the visitors, Legia Warsaw and Yeboah’s goal was not enough to prevent his team from falling to defeat at home.
Yeboah, has three goals in eleven matches with one assist to his name this campaign in Poland.
