Former Ivorian international has eulogized Segio Aguero following the Argentine’s retirement from football.
The pair played together at Manchester City from 2011 to 2018 and won a host of trophies before Toure left for Olympiacos in Greece.
Following Aguero’s retirement from football on December 15, 2021 after injuries had blighted his shot spell at Barcelona, Yaya took to twitter to pay tribute o him
“Sergio, my friend. I am sad to see you retire today but I am also excited for your future. You have so much to offer the game. We shared many great times and I feel blessed to have been your teammate. You will go down as one of the greatest. Playing alongside you was an honour!” He tweeted.
Aguero netted a total of 282 goals in 508 games in a career spanning 18 years and he is regarded as the best striker in the English Premier League era.
