Ghanaian youngster Edmund Addo dazzled in FC Sheriff Tiraspol champions league match against Dinamo Zagreb in Croatia on Wednesday evening as they secured a place in the group stage of the competition for the first time in the club’s history.
The former FC Senica player was one of the best performed players on the pitch as his side secured a 0-0 draw on the road to book a place in the 2021-22 UEFA Champions League group stages.
The Ghanaian was very pivotal for his team as they brushed aside their opponents 3-0 a week ago in Moldova and dazzled in the second leg today to help his side make history.
The 21-year-old Ghanaian box-to-box midfielder has featured in all the matches played by the Moldavan champions in this year’s UEFA Champions League qualifiers.
He worked his way through and became a starter for the club immediately after joining them due to his work ethics and enormous talent displayed in the Slovakia Prma Liga before his move.
