Youngster Jeremie Frimpong was on target for Germany Bundesliga side Bayer Leverkusen on Wednesday evening in the DFB Pokal.
The Ghanaian youngster scored his first goal of the season for the Red and Blacks against Karlsruher at the Bay Arena.
Leverkusen succumbed to a 1-2 defeat at home to exit the 2021-22 German Cup to the Bundesliga and would be cursing their stars after missing so many good goal scoring opportunities.
Frimpong scored an equalizer inside the second half after his team went down by a lone goal at half time
Amin Adli set the youngster up on the 54th minute mark as his left footed strike found the bottom left corner from the center of the box.
The visitors scored again 10 minutes later to eliminate the top-flight side from the competition.
The 20-year-old has three assists in the Bundesliga and now boast of his first goal for Leverkusen.
