Medeama SC teen sensation Kwadwo Asamoah was adjudged as Man of the Match in his side’s 1-0 victory over Ebusua Dwarfs in matchday five of the GhanaPremier League on Saturday at the Cape Coast Sports Stadium.
Asamoah put up a scintillating performance throughout the game to help the Mauves and Yellow side pick all three points in the game.
The Crabs were the better side in the first half after some impressive football on display but failed to make their dominance count as the first half failed to produce no goal.
After the break, Coach Samuel Boadu made some changes which affected the way his team, Medeama SC played in the second half and started giving Dwarfs some problems at the back.
On the 71st minute of the match, substitute Agyenim Boateng pounced on a lackadaisical defense from the hosts to head home the opening goal of the match to put Medeama 1-0 up with 19 minutes left.
Dwarfs pushed on for the equalizer but couldn’t find the back of the net to level matters as they succumbed to a 0-1 defeat at home for the first time this season.
Medeama on the other hand got their first win of the season in four games after previously losing one to Dreams FC and drawing two games against Legon Cities FC and Accra Great Olympics respectively.
Dwarfs have four points whiles Medeama SC have got five points from four games.
