Ghana international, Osman Bukari made his league debut for Nantes in their 1-0 loss to Stade Rennais on Sunday.
Bukari joined the French club last week but could only make a bench appearance as they beat Metz by two goals to nil in their second game of the season.
The 22-year-old was once again put on the bench for Sunday’s game away to Stade Rennais but was introduced in the 67th minute of the game.
The Ghanaian replaced Renaud Emond in the game as his side chased an equalizer after going down to a Martin Terrier strike after the recess.
Bukari had a decent game for his debut but his side could not level proceedings as they lost to Kamaldeen Sulemana’s Rennais.
Kamaldeen also started the game from the bench but was brought in to replace Jeremy Doku, who looked to have picked up a knock before the half-time whistle.
