SG Dynamo Dresden striker, Ransford-Yeboah Königsdörffer has been sidelined for the time being with a meniscus injury.
The Ghana youngster suffered the lateral meniscus, which is also associated with a capsule injury, on May 22nd during the away game against SV Wehen Wiesbaden on the final day of the Bundesliga 3 season.
The extent of the 19-year-old’s injury was known as the result of the evaluation of an MRT examination at the Carl Gustav Carus University Hospital in Dresden after the game.
The enterprising and deadly attacker will undergo a surgical procedure in the near future to determine how long he would be out with his latest injury and when and where the 19-year-old will be operated on will be decided in the next few days.
Königsdörffer had to be replaced with an injury in the 51st minute after a collision in midfield in the away game against SVWW last Saturday.
Ransford-Yeboah Königsdörffer played 32 times for SGD in the 3rd division in the just ended season, scoring seven goals and providing four assists.
