Ghanaian youngster, Tahiru Awudu grabbed his first league goal for CF Fuenlabrada in Spanish La Liga 2 on Sunday afternoon against CD Lugo.

The Ghana international joined the Spanish second-tier side this transfer window from SC Medeama and made his bow in a grand style as he scored on his league debut to propel his side to an opening day victory.

Awudu then opened the scoring in the second half from a close range as he tapped in a cross from the left side of attack by teammate Cristobal four minutes after the hour mark.

20 minutes to full time, Randy Ntakja made the score 2-0 for the home team as they beat the opponent in the first game of the season to go second on the league table after first round of matches in the Spanish La Liga 2.
