Zambian giants Zesco United have joined the race to sign Ghanaian enforcer James Kotei.
The tireless holding midfielder has been a free agent since leaving Belarusian outfit Slavia Mozyr last month.
SPORTSworldGhana.com understands that Zesco United are keen on him as they seek to stabilize their midfield for the coming season.
Already, Young Africans as well as his former club Simba FC have all made their intentions of signing him known though official talks are yet to begin.
Kotei enjoyed a fruitful spell with Simba FC before joining Kaizer Chiefs last summer but things did nt work out.
He left the ABSA Premier League side in January and signed for Slavia Mozyr but was released this summer.
