Ghana legend Sulley Ali Muntari has already had for himself an enviable record since joining 2020-21 Ghana Premier League and MTN FA CUP winners, Accra Hearts of Oak SC.
The former Inter and AC Milan midfielder has been impressive with the Phobians since joining them as a free agent for the second round of the ongoing 2021-22 season in Ghana.
Sulley Muntari in his first four games with the Phobians suffered one defeat and picked up three draws in the Ghana Premier League campaign.
He eventually got a smile on his face and the able supporters of the club following their 2022 President’s Cup victory over their arch rivals Kumasi Asante Kotoko SC.
Before that win, the Ghanaian legend has got his name on the assist list when he set up Isaac Mensah to score against Legon Cities FC at the El Wak stadium in the 1-1 stalemate in Accra.
He dazzled in the President’s Cup triumph last Friday at the Accra Sports Stadium when Hearts beat Kotoko 2-1 to win their fifth trophy.
It was his first ever trophy won in Ghana at the senior level in his illustrious career.
Muntari subsequently grabbed the winner for his team as they beat West African Football Academy (WAFA) SC to pick their first win in five games in the Premier League
Due to his superlative display in the league, the UEFA Champions League winner has been on the lips of many football enthusiasts for his inclusion into the Ghana team.
Sulley Muntari’s stats at Hearts now include, One Goal, One Assist and One Precious Trophy.
