Ghana Premier League Champions Accra Hearts of Oak SC have scored just one goal and conceded two in their last five games in the ongoing 2021-22 season.

The Phobians lackadaisical performances in the Ghana Premier League has suddenly been overlooked by many of their supporters and analysts following their goalless stalemate against Kumasi Asante Kotoko SC last Sunday.

The Phobians last scored a goal on 30th January when they beat Kumasi King Faisal FC by a lone goal at the Accra Sports Stadium in their week 15 encounter.

Before that game, the Rainbow Boys had loss by a 1-0 score line at the CAM Park in Anyinase against Karela United FC, a match the failed to score despite creating so many opportunities.

After the Karela United defeat then came their only win in their last five matches which came against the Insha Allah Boys followed by three matches without a single goal.

Hearts failed to score against Accra Great Olympics FC in the Ga-Mantse derby when they loss 1-0 which meant they had played three matches scoring, one goal and conceding two without a win.

They then went up North to take Real Tamale United FC and drew blank again before failing to score for the third time running against the Porcupine Warriors in Ghana Super Clash.

In the last five matches, Hearts have found the back of the net in just one of their games against King Faisal conceding a goal each against Karela United and Great Olympics with two clean sheets against RTU and Kotoko.

The Phobians have been praised by many for their performance against Kotoko but their problems still looms large and stares in their faces as they go into the second round of the 2021-22 season in Ghana.

The Phobians must up their performance in the Ghana Premier League to be able to change their fortunes in the league as they lie 7th on the table and 12 points behind leaders Asante Kotoko.
