The Panthers of Gabon will host the Cranes of Uganda in a a friendly game in Dubai on December 30.
Gabon head coach Patrice Neveu has already named his squad for the AFCON and is using this encounter to sharpen the rough edges in his team.
The Central African country are in the same Group with Ghana, Comoros as well as Morocco and Neveu has already emphasized that the first target is to qualify from the pool.
Gabon will face Comoros in their first game at the 2021 AFCON on January 10.
