Philemon Baffour of Dreams FC will be the player to wear the iconic Black Stars jersey number 3 of Asamoah Gyan at the 2021 African Cup of Nations.
The number 3 shirt is synonymous with the name Asamoah Gyan in terms of the Black Stars. The Ghana legend will not be seen at the continent’s biggest soccer competition for the first time since he made his AFCON debut in 2008.
Baffour’s consistent selection to the Black Stars has been widely criticized by both fans and journalists but now they will have to endure for some more time as they are not only set to see him at the AFCON but in also in the popular jersey number 3 – attached to the legendary Asamoah Gyan.
