Ghana captain Andre Ayew remains confident the Black Stars will beat Comoros in their final group C to book qualification to the next phase of the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations tournament.
Jim Allevinah struck two minutes from time to cancel Andre Ayew’s first half effort for Ghana, leaving the Four-time African Champions winless in their first two games.
Despite picking just a point out of six, Al Sadd star Andre Ayew insists his outfit will win against Comoros in their final group game to qualify.
“We are Ghana, we are going to win the last game and go through,” Ayew said at the Post-Match conference.
Reacting to the aftermath incident, Ayew said: “We had the ball out, because our man was on the floor, we expected them to give us back the ball but they went on to score. I am very disappointed in Gabon.”
