Ghana could meet one of the biggest favorites to win the 2022 FIFA World Cup in the Round of 16 and this will be the case should Brazil top their group and the Black Stars finish group runners-up.
Brazil – touted as the biggest favorites to lift the global football trophy in Qatar – are in Group G alongside Switzerland, Serbia and Cameroon whilst Ghana are in Group H with Portugal, South Korea and Uruguay.
The Winners of Group G take on the second-placed team of Group H and this is where the path of Ghana and Brazil could crossed – as it happened in the 2006 World Cup in Germany.
Brazil won that game by 3-0 to advance as Ghana celebrated a knockout appearance in her first ever World Cup finals contested.
