The 2021 Caf U-20 best goalkeeper was set to join the Black Stars team before they travel to Japan for the Kirin Cup tournament but the Porcupine Warriors have prevented him from travelling with the team to Japan.
Asante Kotoko are currently have only two goalkeepers at their disposal being only Danlad and Kwame Baah.
Management of the club feels that should they allow Danlad to join the Black Stars team, they will only have Kwame Baah for their remaining league matches hence the move to ensure stop him from enplaning to Japan.
