Aduana Stars striker Yahaya Mohammed wants Ghana coach Otto Addo to name at least four players in the Black Stars team for the 2022 Fifa World Cup qualifiers play-offs against the Super Eagles of Nigeria.
Ghana, four-time African Champions, host the Super Eagles in the first leg of their blockbuster clash on Friday, March 25, 2022 in Kumasi before they make a trip to Abuja four days later for the reverse fixture.
The winner of the two legged game will qualify for the World Cup in Qatar later this year.
Speaking on Kumasi-based Light FM ahead of the big clash, the former Asante Kotoko talisman said: “I will be surprised if coach Otto Addo does not invite any local player for the Nigeria game, for for me I will be disappointed if players like Bright Adjei of Aduana stars, Sulley Muntari of Hearts, Dennis Korsah or Imoro Ibrahim are not invited into Black Stars,”
Mohammed went further to say that: “I feel that Bright Adjei is an ideal striker for Black Stars”
Ghana missed the 2018 World Cup in Russia after three successive appearances between 2006 to 2014.
