The Black Stars of Ghana will be hoping to pick the three available points on Thursday, November 24 when they face Portugal in a Group H fixture of the 2022 World Cup on Qatar.
Ghana lost 2-1 to the 2006 World Cup semi finalists in 2014 and they will be hoping to get a revenge this time.
Ghana has a full house and skipper Andre Ayew has already emphasized that he and his colleagues I’ll deliver despite many of them not playing at this stage before.
“We all had to play before we got the world cup experience. I don’t think only me and Jordan being the two players who have featured in the World Cup before is a problem.” Ayew states ahead of the game.
The Portuguese are also looking forward to the encounter and their skipper Cristiano Ronaldo has indicated that they will prevail though Ghana would be tough.
This is going to be the fourth time Portugal are playing an African team at the World Cup and they have won two and drawn one.
Ghana’s also have recorded two wins, one draw and two defeats against European teams at the world cup.
After the game at the Al Janoub Stadium on Thursday, the Black Stars will face South Korea on November 28 before a crunch encounter with Uruguay on December 2.
