Celebrated Rwandan female referee Salima Mukansanga will be at the helm of affairs on Tuesday, November 22 when France takes on Australia in Group D of the ongoing 2022 World Cup.
Salima who is one of the three female referees selected by FIFA for the competition has already carved a niche for herself as the best female referee in Africa.
In January this year, Salima made history when she became the first female referee to handle a men’s AFCON game when she officiate the encounter between Guinea and Zimbabwe.

Salima who is a nurse by profession has officiated in lots of competitions including All African Games, Women’s World Cup and a host of others.
